Frequently Asked Questions

Time is a funny thing. You may not know it but there are over 300 hours of wedding planning involved with the average eight hour wedding day. Depending on package choice I will be like the bridesmaid you didn’t know you needed. We will be in contact to go over logistics, create a timeline, look through contracts and figure out how to solve the inevitable family dramas!

I service the Chicagoland area and the Northwest suburbs.
I am willing to travel with you anywhere. There is a travel fee after 50 miles from my home (Barrington). I would love to travel to your magical destination. I hear Alaska is beautiful however, this will take some convincing since I am totally an island gal.

A venue coordinator oversees the on venue and its staff, to make sure they are fulfilling their contractual obligations, serving food on time, etc. A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event and/or they have other events they are overseeing on property during the same time. A wedding coordinator (AKA, ME) works only for you to make every aspect of your day and timeline is running smoothly, greet your vendors, send out a timeline prior, make sure you are having a great time celebrating and to ensure that the vision for your event has become a reality.

I do not have a list of preferred vendors. I am happy to work with any vendor that you have chosen. I will also gladly help you to source some vendors if you are feeling stuck and need a little assistance in that area.

Depending on your event you will want to book at least 6 months prior to your date to lock in your date.
If it is a corporate event the planning will start about 3-4 months out to get a feel for your vision and overall theme.
Weddings you want to book ASAP typically Saturday and Sunday weddings between the months of April-October fill up the quickest.
